Lyrics
Found it in a shoebox Corner torn and bent Faces in the summer Wherever the years went Hold the old photograph Hold it to the light Everyone is smiling In a long-ago night Someone's squinting sideways Someone's holding a hat I can almost hear the laughter Almost, but not quite that Hold the old photograph Hold it to the light Everyone is smiling In a long-ago night Nobody knew the picture Would outlast the day Now it is a window To a place far away I'll tuck it by the mirror Where the morning comes in So the summer keeps on shining And the faces still grin Hold the old photograph Hold it to the light Everyone is smiling In a long-ago night In a long-ago night In a long-ago night
