Liner notes

By the time we made this one we'd stopped trying to sound like anything except ourselves. Pillowcase Satellites is about small, ordinary things that orbit your life: a wallet returned, two cups of tea, a spare key, a breakup with no slammed doors. The tape machine finally died halfway through mixing and we replaced it with an identical broken one. Insomniacs keep writing to tell us it's the record they fall asleep to, which is the best review we could ask for.
