Lyrics
The train is late tonight The platform is wet and cold We stand beneath the roof You are close to me The rain is soft and slow It taps along the tin I hold your coat sleeve And we wait Wait for the rain to pass Stay close, stay close Wait for the rain to pass Stay close to me There is nowhere else to be Nowhere else to be A light flickers above Your breath is a little cloud I give you my warm scarf You smile and look away The tracks are shining silver The night is very still We do not mind the train We wait Wait for the rain to pass Stay close, stay close Wait for the rain to pass Stay close to me There is nowhere else to be Nowhere else to be Quiet now Hear it fall Quiet now Stay with me Wait for the rain to pass Stay close, stay close Wait for the rain to pass Stay close to me There is nowhere else to be Nowhere else to be Stay close Stay close to me
