Lyrics
Neon on the wet black road The driver hums an old, slow tune I am heading to your door Hands are shaking, heart is bright Take me there, take me there Through the neon rain Take me there, take me there Back to you again Red lights turn to green Wipers keep a steady beat The city blurs like a dream Your window glowing up ahead Take me there, take me there Through the neon rain Take me there, take me there Back to you again Stop the car, I see your light Pay the fare and step outside Rain on my face, I'm smiling wide Take me there, take me there Through the neon rain Take me there, take me there Back to you again Back to you again
