Lyrics
The little van parks by the field Shelves of stories lit up warm A lamp inside and a window open Come and borrow a quiet night Take a book, take it home Read it slow till the morning comes Take a book, take it home Stay close, I'm right here Pages smell like rain and dust Every spine is a sleeping door The driver hums a tune so low And the stars lean in to read Take a book, take it home Read it slow till the morning comes Take a book, take it home Stay close, I'm right here Somewhere far from the places you know A story keeps you company Turn the page, the night is long And nobody reads alone Take a book, take it home Read it slow till the morning comes Take a book, take it home Stay close, I'm right here Take a book Stay close, I'm right here
