Lyrics
Sun is going down on the water Lantern swinging soft by the rail Two cups of tea and a blanket Slow boat carrying us home Last ferry, soft lantern light Rocking me close tonight Last ferry, soft lantern light Everything feels all right Lights on the harbour, little gold stars Your hand is warm in mine Quiet engine, quiet sea Nowhere else I'd be Last ferry, soft lantern light Rocking me close tonight Last ferry, soft lantern light Everything feels all right Close your eyes, let the water sing Lean on me, lean on me Home is a little light ahead Lean on me Dock is waiting, kind and near Porch light through the dark Step on the boards, hold my hand Slow boat brought us home Last ferry, soft lantern light Rocking me close tonight Last ferry, soft lantern light Everything feels all right
