Lyrics
There's a moth at the porch light, circling slow Dusty wings in the amber glow It doesn't know what it's looking for Just a warmth behind a door I know that feeling, I've been there too Following a light that I never knew Around and around in the summer air Hoping that someone is waiting there Little moth, little moth, stay a while The night is wide and so are you Little moth, little moth, rest a while The light will be here too Crickets hum in the long dark grass Soft the hours as they pass The screen door sighs, the porch boards creak Even the quiet has things to speak Little moth, little moth, stay a while The night is wide and so are you Little moth, little moth, rest a while The light will be here too Dust and gold and drifting wings Small and brave in small things You don't need to find the sun Just a little light, just one Little moth, little moth, stay a while The night is wide and so are you Little moth, little moth, rest a while The light will be here too The light will be here too
