Lyrics
I woke up early with the window open Light came in on the floor I made a list in my head on the doorstep Of all the things worth thanking for The bakery smell on the corner A neighbour's wave from the stairs The bus that came just right on time And a song someone played in the square Thank you, thank you For the small things in the day Thank you, thank you For the light along the way Thank you, thank you Count them one by one Thank you, thank you The morning has begun A stranger shared an umbrella A friend picked up the phone A kettle sang a little tune And I did not walk alone Thank you, thank you For the small things in the day Thank you, thank you For the light along the way Thank you, thank you Count them one by one Thank you, thank you The morning has begun Count them on your fingers Count them on the street Every little kindness Makes the day complete Thank you, thank you For the small things in the day Thank you, thank you For the light along the way Thank you, thank you Count them one by one Thank you, thank you The morning has begun Thank you, thank you The morning has begun
