Lyrics
The night went wrong, the music died Last bus gone and I stood outside Lost my friends and my ticket too Streetlight shining on my shoes Wheel home, wheel home in the rain Borrowed bicycle, no more pain Wet and laughing, I will be fine Home by morning, heart still mine Rusty bell and a wobbly chain Puddles splashing, I sing again Neon sign goes blinking by Raindrops dancing in my eye Wheel home, wheel home in the rain Borrowed bicycle, no more pain Wet and laughing, I will be fine Home by morning, heart still mine Bad night, good road Light my way back home Porch light waiting, the kettle's warm Dry my hair after the storm Funny how a night goes wrong And still I end up with a song Wheel home, wheel home in the rain Borrowed bicycle, no more pain Wet and laughing, I will be fine Home by morning, heart still mine Wheel home In the rain
