Lyrics
Took my coat off at the corner Folded it over my arm Felt the sun on my shoulders Like a hand, soft and warm Girl at the flower cart singing Old man dancing in his shoes Everybody on the avenue Forgot the winter blues One step, two step Shake the cold away Spring is calling out my name And I've got something to say Coat off, coat off, spring is here Hey hey, sunshine, come on near Coat off, coat off, let it go Dance down the street, don't be slow Coat off, coat off, samba sun Everybody's singing, everyone Coat off, coat off, one more time The whole town's feeling fine Cafe tables on the pavement Cups of coffee in the light Kids are chasing paper kites Every window open wide I tip my hat to the grandma Watering her balcony She winks and waves a trowel Says the season's good to me One step, two step Shake the cold away Spring is calling out my name And I've got something to say Coat off, coat off, spring is here Hey hey, sunshine, come on near Coat off, coat off, let it go Dance down the street, don't be slow Coat off, coat off, samba sun Everybody's singing, everyone Coat off, coat off, one more time The whole town's feeling fine Feel it in your fingertips Feel it in your feet The first warm day is a gift And the whole street's a beat Coat off, coat off, spring is here Hey hey, sunshine, come on near Coat off, coat off, let it go Dance down the street, don't be slow Coat off, coat off, samba sun Everybody's singing, everyone Coat off, coat off, one more time The whole town's feeling fine Coat off, spring is here Coat off, one more time
