Lyrics
I write a letter by the lamp The house is dark and still The pen is cold, the paper white I am writing what I will Pen pressed hard, paper soft I write your name and then I stop Pen pressed hard, paper soft I miss you, that is all The clock is slow, the kettle cool The rain is on the pane I fold the page in half and half And write your name again Pen pressed hard, paper soft I write your name and then I stop Pen pressed hard, paper soft I miss you, that is all I do not know if I will send it Maybe I will keep it here Maybe I will read it slowly When the morning comes near Pen pressed hard, paper soft I write your name and then I stop Pen pressed hard, paper soft I miss you, that is all That is all That is all
