Lyrics
Dad and I on the windy hill String in my hand and the evening still Paper wings in the orange sky Watch it rise, watch it fly Let it go, let it climb Kite on the evening wind Let it go, let it climb Take me back in time Now I stand here on my own Same old hill and the wind has blown Paper wings in the fading light I still hold on tight Let it go, let it climb Kite on the evening wind Let it go, let it climb Take me back in time Higher, higher, out of sight Higher, higher, into the night String in my hand, I'm not alone The wind will bring it home Let it go, let it climb Kite on the evening wind Let it go, let it climb Take me back in time Take me back in time
