Lyrics
The music stopped, the lights came on Paper streamers on the floor Everybody's gone outside I'm standing by the door Sneakers squeak on the shiny floor One slow song I danced before Gym lights coming on The night is nearly gone We were young, we were glowing Gym lights coming on Hold the last song on We were young, we were glowing Balloons are sinking to the ground Punch cups stacked up on the stage Someone's jacket on a chair A little bit of the way we were Sneakers squeak on the shiny floor One slow song I danced before Gym lights coming on The night is nearly gone We were young, we were glowing Gym lights coming on Hold the last song on We were young, we were glowing Turn it down, turn it down Let it ring a little longer Turn it down, turn it down Then we walk out in the cold Gym lights coming on The night is nearly gone We were young, we were glowing Gym lights coming on Hold the last song on We were young, we were glowing We were glowing We were glowing
