Lyrics
Pockets turned out, coat on the chair Cushions lifted, keys not there Late for the morning, late for the day Kettle is singing, I'm in the way Where did I leave the key Where did I leave the key Under the hat, behind the tea Where did I leave the key Check by the bread bin, check by the door Check in the jacket I wore before Neighbour looks over, smiling slow Says take a breath, it's here somewhere, you know Where did I leave the key Where did I leave the key Under the hat, behind the tea Where did I leave the key Sit down easy, hush your mind Everything lost is a thing to find Slow down, slow down Morning will wait for you There in the fruit bowl, shining bright Sitting with the apples all the night I laugh out loud, I shake my head Good thing the day is still ahead Where did I leave the key Where did I leave the key Under the hat, behind the tea Found you at last, little key
