Lyrics
Kettle clicks off in the kitchen Phone is warm against my ear Your voice comes in from far away Still it feels like you are here Stay on the line, stay on the line Two cups of tea, one small kitchen light Stay on the line, stay on the line Miles are only miles tonight I hear your spoon against the cup I hear you laugh and breathe Different cities, same warm hour Quiet is enough for me Stay on the line, stay on the line Two cups of tea, one small kitchen light Stay on the line, stay on the line Miles are only miles tonight Talk to me slow Talk to me slow Nowhere to be, nowhere to go Stay on the line, stay on the line Two cups of tea, one small kitchen light Stay on the line, stay on the line Miles are only miles tonight Stay on the line Miles are only miles tonight
