Lyrics
Mama walks slower now Down the garden path I hold her arm, she holds my hand We take our time, we laugh Mama walks slower now So I slow down too No need to hurry, no need to run Nothing but time with you She used to carry me Up the stairs to bed Now I carry her shopping bag And the words she often said Mama walks slower now So I slow down too No need to hurry, no need to run Nothing but time with you Hold my arm, Mama I've got you, I've got you Hold my arm, Mama The way you always knew We stop and watch the sparrows By the gate at three She says the world looks sweeter When you let it be Mama walks slower now So I slow down too No need to hurry, no need to run Nothing but time with you Mama walks slower now And I slow down too
