Liner notes

By the second record we'd stopped trying to sound like anything but ourselves. Slow Tide Home is about the walk back, whatever weather you have to walk through. Joaquim wrote the bass line for the umbrella songs on the back of a tram ticket, and Lena kept re-voicing the same chord until it felt like someone leaning on your shoulder. We recorded over two weeks with the windows open.
