Liner notes

It was too hot to sleep for two weeks, so I recorded with a fan on low and the window wide open, the way I did at the very beginning. The songs drift between motels, coast roads and bike rides at dusk. I kept the tempo easy and let the heat smear the tape. I think it's the record where I sound most like myself.
