by The Lantern Hounds

Ten songs of blanket forts, thunderstorms and summer evenings, ending in a toast to being loud and wrong.

  10. 10. Blanket Fort in the Back of the VanRain on the van roof, a string of lights, four of us in a blanket fort. Honestly, this is the sweetest way to end a record.cosy folk, playful lullaby4:03

Liner notes

By our fourth LP we'd stopped trying to impress anybody. We built a blanket fort in the studio, hung lights from the mic stands, and played like we were still in the back of the van. A man at a club once told us to turn it down; the title is our answer. There's a lot of summer on here, a few storms, and the best harmonies we have ever stacked.
